My name is Michiel, but I usually go by Dex as my online alias.
In daily life I work as an IT-consultant but ever since I was a child I've always been greatly inspired by abstract and modern artists, so I decided to combine my passion for IT and designing into becoming an online graphic designer.
My skills are completely self-taught and I describe my approach as modern and sometimes minimalstic.
What I mostly enjoy is finding creative ways to make logos work, a logo is the face of a business and often it takes a lot of creativity to incorporate the soul of a business inside a logo. I usually create those in Adobe Illustrator. My graphic designer hobby started out with photomanipulations in Adobe Photoshop but ever since working more and more with Illustrator I've gotten into making modern vector illustrations and other work in Photoshop and Illustrator as well, this however doesn't mean that I'm not up for something else, I'm always up for learning something new, taking on new challenges and expanding my skillset.

CURRENT SKILLSET
I consider Illustrator and Photoshop amonst the tools that I master the most, I do have some experience in After Effects and Wordpress but I wouldn't consider myself an expert.
